TRANSPARENCY

In the spirit of maximum transparency, the FIGC makes every balance sheet, budget, Report Calcio and, since 2015, the Management Report available. This is according to the Model for Organisation, Management and Supervision agreed upon by the Federal Council on 27th April 2015 (CU 240/A) in decree 231/2001.
The Model for  Organisation, Management and Control according to decree 231/2001 aims to prevent the committal of offences related to the Federation’s administration. The model brings together general principles, codes of conduct, supervision tools, organisation procedures and disciplinary methods and training about the system to prevent the commission of offences under decree 231/2001.
Report Calcio is the annual report on the Federation’s activities with the most information on Italian football with data on clubs, teams and members.
The Social Report is the first document which completely illuminated the activities, identity and mission of the Federations and its role in sport and the social fabric of the country. The FIGC then decided to expand with the Integrated Report (data from 2015). It illuminates the key strategic programmes of the federation and their potential, with a particular focus on internal efficiency, sustainability and transparency. It also addresses sporting development and the youth section with activities relevant to professional football, facilities and the revision of norms and regulations
The Management Report was born from the practice of trimestral reporting which was introduced in 2015. It incorporates 15 sectors under the auspices of the FIGC (including all sectors, the AIA and services related to the FIGC) and internal functions which publish their reports on a trimestral basis in order to serve as both a tool for internal communication and as a tool for evaluation to ensure that results are aligned to the organisation’s policies.

From 2016, The FIGC has promoted the Income Statement Into Italian Football. It’s an innovative study into the world of football, a report which presents the economic figures of the game. It’s not simply a glance at the data surrounding professional football which involves 1.5 million people, but rather an exhaustive analysis which considers amateur and grassroots football along with the economic information pertaining to the FIGC and the leagues.
