World Cup Qualifications: Portugal on the 27th, 31st against Finland

An important appointment for the National Women’s team is coming up, the two World Cup qualifying matches against Portugal and Finland.
After the Cyprus Tournament, where head coach Ghedin had the chance to evaluate the conditions of the team and the players used in the foreign leagues (the goalkeeper Picarelli, Conti and Pini), the women were called on the confirm their positive moment, both physically and as far as the results recorded up till now in the qualifications.
The National women’s team, in fact, leads the standings with four wins in four matches: Slovenia (8), Portugal (2-0), Armenia away match (8-0) and Armenia home match (7-0).
The team will play the first of the two matches against Portugal on Saturday, March 27th, while the second match is scheduled against Finland on Wednesday, the 31st, in Ascoli Piceno.
