Agreement between FIGC and Sport Business Academy for sports managers

“Sport Manager, development program of managerial skills”: this is the title of the first formation program that begins on April 12th, of the Sport Business Academy, initiative promoted by the Bocconi School of Management and RCS Sport. This program was underwritten by the FIGC and the SDA Bocconi School of Management.

As part of the initiative, the FIGC will support and finance the participation of a candidate among those who, according to the foreseen requirements, will apply to the Sport Manager program.
The candidates will be evaluated by the teachers who are part of the Managing Committee of Sport Business Academy, based on the following criteria:
Requirements for the evaluation:
Minimum requirements:
a) 2-year working experience
Preferential title:
a) Working experience in a sports organization with roles of general or specific responsibility, or a collaborator with businesses or media for the organization and management of sponsoring initiatives or sports events.
b) Must be between 25 and 35 years of age. Documentation to send Candidates must send the following documentation to the SDA Bocconi School of Management:
a) Application for the free participation in the formation program.
b) Written essay on the topic: “The challenges faced by Federations and Leagues in balancing social and economic values in light of the evolution of the sports business. Ideas and initiatives to propose”.
c) Resume’.
The selection of the candidates will take place based on the examination of the documentation they send. The candidates may also be asked to hold an interview.
