FIGC renews its support of FARE as Azzurri players promote 2017 campaign

The FIGC is again supporting FARE (Football Against Racism in Europe) and Football People Week 2017 which is the anti-racist campaign promoted (see more) across Europe between 5th and 19th October. Around the matches against FYR Macedonia and Albania, Italy players will promote the project with the Azzurri and FARE having been linked since 2011. 

During the two weeks of the campaign against racism, professional and amateur clubs, fan groups, national federations and NGOs have organised a large number of events to combat discrimination and promote social inclusion. These include activities at stadiums on matchdays, activities with refugees and asylum seekers along with a series of conferences to discuss the topic of integration.
