Toni, Amelia and Camoranesi: Three World Cup winners from 2006 are now qualified coaches

They are now to all intents and purposes professional coaches. The FIGC’s Technical Sector has confirmed to the qualification of new coaches with the UEFA A licence. Nine coaches passed the final exams after special course with 210 hours of lessons for former professional players with at least seven seasons spent playing in Serie A. 

Among the newly-qualified coaches are the 2006 World Cup winners Marco Amelia, Mauro German Camoranesi and Luca Toni and other famous names such as Cristian Chivu and Amantino Mancini. With this qualification, they can lead all youth sides and first teams up to Serie C. They can also be registered as assistant coaches in Serie B and A.
