Work restarts for Albania match. Favilli leaves the camp

After returning to Rome immediately after the defeat away to Slovakia, The Under-21 National Team was back on the pitch for training ahead of the match on Tuesday against Albania at the Sardegna Arena in Cagliari at 18:30 CEST. 

Due to an ongoing injury picked up in his last Serie A appearance, Genoa’s Andrea Favilli has had to leave the camp.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Azzurrini will have double training before leaving for Sardinia on Monday morning where they’ll train in the afternoon.

The Under-21 side is unbeaten against Albania with four wins and a draw which occurred in the most recent meeting on 10 August 2016 in San Benedetto del Tronto.
