World Cup playoffs: first in Besançon, Saturday 11, return in Gubbio on 15

The first 2011 World Cup playoff match will be played in Becançon.  The dates and locations of the two matches were made official today:  the National Women’s team will play against France at the “Léo Lagrange” stadium on Saturday, September 11, 1t 8:45 pm while the return match is scheduled at the “Barbetti” stadium in Gubbio on Wednesday, the 15th (3:00 pm).  The draw for the matches was made last Monday in Nyon: Norway plays against Ukraine, Sweden against Denmark, England against Switzerland. In the meantime, Italy continues to prepare in light of the two matches in Castel di Sangro.
