Crimi and Ragusa new for Turkey and Hungary.El Shaarawy returns
The Grosseto midfielder Marco Crimi and the Reggina forward Antonio Ragusa are the new names on the Under 21 team for the two Euro qualifying matches scheduled against Turkey and Hungary. Among the 22 players called today by Ciro Ferrara, there is also El Shaarawy, called last time for Italy-England on February 8, 2011. Borini is absent for injury and Insigne for disqualification, and the federal coach will have to do without Manolo Gabbiadini for the match of November 10th, but he will be available for the next match on the 15th in Casarano.
After the three wins in the round against Hungary, Liechtenstein and Turkey, the Under 21 team will play against Turkey one month after the last match played in Rieti and won 2-0 thanks to goals scored by Saponara and Destro. The team coached by Ferrara will meet on Monday, the 7th, in Rome, at the “La Borghesiana” sports center to begin preparing for these two matches.
