Goals and good play by the U.19 in Coverciano under watchful eye of Prandelli
A good test against an excellent opponent: this was the match played today by the Under 19 team in Coverciano against the Lega Pro Under 20 team. Six goals scored with the win by the U.19 team coached by Evani for 4-2, under the watchful eye of FIGC vice-president, Demetrio Albertini, Cesare Prandelli and the coordinator of the National youth teams, Arrigo Sacchi.
More than 500 spectators were on hand to see the watch that opened with a go by the Lega Pro team by Improta on 17’ of the first half, but four minutes later – after the penalty kick bhy Degeri (Lega Pro) that did not score – the Under team tied with Bianchetti.
The other three goals by the Under 19 team were scored in the second half with Belotti on 9’, Schiavone on 30’ and Politano on 40’, while Zampano scored on 35’ for the Lega Pro.
Before the match began, a minute of silence was observed in the memory of the Senegal victims who lost their life yesterday in Florence.
