EURO 2032: the FIGC to begin meetings with the candidate cities
The meetings will help the cities prepare for their application before the five host stadiums will be selected after the deadline in October 2026Thursday, July 10, 2025

The FIGC are stepping up their work in preparation for the 2032 EUROs. They have scheduled meetings with representatives of the municipalities, the owners and managers of the stadiums, including the clubs of the cities included in the winning bid, with Italy set to host the competition alongside Türkiye in 2032. The purpose of these meetings is to work together, to support candidates in developing their applications and allowing all the cities to prepare before the deadline in October 2026.
Around that date, according to UEFA’s scheduling, five Italian stadiums will be chosen to host the most prestigious footballing competition in the continent. Through close coordination with city scheduling managers that will have to present the best infrastructure projects including those already approved, financed and ready for construction by March 2027, the aim is to promote and facilitate the best possible modernisation projects or the construction of new facilities. It all begins in Rome on 14 July and in around two weeks there will be meetings in all eleven cities signed up to become a EURO 2032 host city. All the meetings will take place with UEFA present, represented by Michele Uva, the official delegate for the Italian organising committee.
