Progetto HatTrick V: the anti-doping awareness programme arrives at AC Milan

Today at the Milanello Sports Centre in Carnago, this season’s ninth instalment of the anti-doping awareness programme from UEFA, ‘HatTrick V’, was held with the players, medical and technical staff from AC Milan, led by the Federal Antidoping Commission and NADO Italia.

Representing the Federal Antidoping Commission were President Giuseppe Capua and three others, Francesco Braconaro, Walter Della Frera and Veniero Gambaro, who focused on the collaboration with NADO Italia and FMSI for the annual 'in' and 'out of competition' anti-doping measures and on educational projects with schools, youth teams, and all the Italian National Men's and Women's football, futsal and beach soccer teams as part of the UEFA HatTrick V Programme. Alessia Di Gianfrancesco and Ginevra Spinola di Giove (NADO Italy) then reiterated the current anti-doping sports regulations, particularly concerning the list of prohibited substances and the exemption request for therapeutic purposes (TUE).
