24 players called up for the double friendly against France, they will meet in Rome on Sunday

A highly anticipated double friendly awaits the National Under-18 team, who will face hosts France on Thursday 17 (15.00 CET) and Sunday 20 November (11.00 CET) at the Federal Technical Centre in Clairefontaine. It will be Italy's last engagement of 2022, who in their first three friendly matches of the season defeated Albania 3-0 in August before picking up a victory and a defeat in the two matches with Serbia played at the end of September in L'Aquila.

24 players have been called up by coach Daniele Franceschini (23 class of 2005 and the class of 2006 Adam Bakouné), who will meet on the evening of Sunday 13 November at the Giulio Onesti Olympic Preparation Centre in Rome and travel to France on Wednesday 16 November on the eve of the match against the trans-Alpine peers.

The record of matches between the Under-18 national teams of Italy and France sees the Bleus slightly ahead: in the 34 previous matches the Azzurrini have managed 12 wins, 9 draws and 13 defeats. The last meeting was back on 4 July in Oran, when in the final of the Mediterranean Games, in front of 30,000 spectators, France won 1-0 thanks to a goal scored by Pirringuel.
