
Italy are back in the top ten of the FIFA Rankings

The road to EURO 2020 continues. With 12 points from four matches (13 goals scored, 1 conceded), Roberto Mancini’s Italy have the chance to extend their lead at the top of Group J in their upcoming matches in Armenia (5 September in Yerevan, 18:00 CEST) and in Finland (8 September in Tampere, 20:45 CEST).
The Azzurri will meet up on Monday, 2 September in Bologna for their first training session that afternoon at the Niccolò Galli’ training centre in Casteldebole. The team will then leave for Yerevan on the morning of 4 September, ahead of their match against Armenia at 18:00 CEST (20:00 local time) the following day. Mancini’s men will complete a training session behind closed doors on the morning of the 6 September in the Armenian capital, before leaving for Tampere in the afternoon.
On 7 September, the team will meet for a training session at the ‘Tampere Stadion’ and on Sunday, 8 September at 20:45 CEST (21:45 local time), the Azzurri will face Finland – the team they beat 2-0 in Udine on 23 March in the opening round of European Qualifiers.
