Azzurrini to face Austria in Codroipo in their final game of the season

Following their friendly against Hungary, the Under-18 National Team are preparing to finish off the season on Wednesday 8 May. The Azzurrini’s opponents will be Austria, with the game set to kick off at 14:30 CEST at the Stadio di Codroipo in the Province of Udine.

The two sides have already met each other 23 times, with Italy’s record reading as follows: eleven wins, five draws and seven defeats. Their last meeting was in November 2016, when the Azzurrini won 1-0 in Caldogno.

Head Coach Daniele Franceschini has called up 20 players for the game. They will meet up on Sunday evening and begin their preparations at the Centro Sportivo De Marchi in Pordenone the next day.
