Azzurrini to face Czech Repuplic in double friendly header on 21 and 23 November

After having faced the Netherlands in October (one win and one defeat on Dutch soil), the Under-16 National Team have further dates to circle on their calendars: Tuesday 21 November (15:00 CET live on at figc.it) and Thursday 23 (11:00 CET) will see the young lads take on Czech Republic in two friendlies. Both games will be held at the Olympic Preparation Centre (OPC) in Tirrenia. The two nations have met five times previously, the last one coming back in 2016 - a 2-1 win for the Azzurrini at the Friendship Games in Malta. The head-to-head record shows Italy with three wins, a draw and one defeat - this latter result coming in the first-ever game between the sides, in the 1995 European Championships knockout stages.

For Zoratto's lads it will be their seventh and eighth friendly of this new season. As well as the two games already mentioned, they played England twice in August (a win and a draw at Coverciano), while in September away in Spain in Albir, they were beaten for the first time of the season, before coming away with a 3-2 win in the second game.
