Bollini given 'Scopigno e Felice Pulici' award

Before heading off to Calabria, where Italy's Under 20s are preparing for their Elite League clash with Poland (on Friday 13 at 18:00 CEST in Catanzaro, live on figc.it), Head Coach Alberto Bollini - winner of the Under-19 European Championships last summer - received the prestigious Manlio Scopigno e Felice Pulici award in Rome in a ceremony held at CONI's grand hall. 

Bollini, who received his award alongside many other people from the footballing world, spoke about the most important moments of his career: from two Scudetto titles won with Lazio Primavera to the Azzurrini's Under-19 European triumph won in July in Malta. "I feel extremely proud to have my passion as my profession and I'm very happy to have received this recognition," said Bollini on the stage; he continued: "Over the course of my sporting life, I have alwyas put the relationship with the lads and their growth at the centre of everything, and I'm convinced that also sporting results and achievements are made by relationships and connections that are created."
