Corradi names 23-man squad ahead of the U17 EURO
Final preparations will take place from 10-12 May before the trip to Israel. Next Thursday, the Azzurrini`s coach will name his 20-strong squad due to fly to Tel Aviv the following dayFriday, May 6, 2022
The Azzurrini will meet at the sports centre in Acquacetosa (Rome), before they leave for Israel where the U17 European Championships will be played from 18 May to 1 June. 23 players have been called up by Bernardo Corradi, the majority of whom were part of the squad that progressed past the second round of qualifying in the province of Siena ten days ago. Two debutants have been selected for the Azzurrini: Forwards, Manuel Giuseppe Pisano and Alessandro Vinciguerra, of Juventus and Cagliari respectively.
The training camp will commence on Tuesday 10 May and will end on Thursday 12th, after which the Azzurrini’s coach will name the final 20-man squad for the upcoming continental tournament. The following morning, the team is scheduled to fly to Tel Aviv.
