FIGC working to organise the transfer of 1,000 Azzurri fans to Wembley: All the information

Ahead of the EURO 2020 final, scheduled at London's Wembley Stadium on Sunday 11 June at 21:00 CEST, UEFA has reached an agreement with the British authorities regarding the possibility for a maximum number of 1,000 fans to travel from Italy to London to watch the final match of the tournament. However, the initiative is dependant on compliance with a series of conditions through which the current provisions imposed by the British government relating to necessary quarantine for travellers from Italy can be waived.

Specifically, fans from Italy will be able to stay in Britain for a maximum of 12 hours; They will have to reach London respecting the concept of a "security bubble" through the exclusive use of charter flights and dedicated transport from the airport arrival in London to Wembley Stadium and vice versa, which will be organised directly by the FIGC; Once at Wembley Stadium, a specific section of the stadium will be dedicated for them to ensure the security bubble; It is also necessary to fill in an online form (“Travel Locator Form”: https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk) within 48 hours prior to departure.

Furthermore, all fans travelling to London will have to show proof of a negative Covid PCR test (molecular swab) carried out strictly after 15:00 CEST on 9 July 2021 (a necessary requirement to enter Great Britain). In addition, to allow compliance with the current regulations of the Italian government regarding the return to Italy, it is strongly recommended to carry out this swab on Saturday 10 July. Finally, as required by the current regulations and provisions of the Italian Government and the Ministry of Health, upon returning to Italy, all fans must carry out a compulsory five days of isolation at their home of residence, as well as complete an additional molecular or antigen test at the end of the five days of isolation.

Fans who want to take part in the initiative will have to use charter flights and internal transport in England organised by the FIGC through the Carlson Wagonlit Travel agency. Charter flights are scheduled for departure in the late morning or early afternoon of 11 July from Rome and Milan, depending on reservations, and the return to Italy will take place at the end of the game. The cost of the travel package service is €610 per person.

Consequently, the purchase of the package guarantees the possibility of purchasing the final ticket separately, through the UEFA ticketing portal, after confirmation of the trip. Tickets available to the Azzurri fans designated by UEFA for this initiative are in the Fans First category, with a price of €95.

All interested parties must submit their interest by 11:00 CEST tomorrow, 8 July 2021, by using the link: https://cvent.me/K0re9W?locale=it

The service will be confirmed following the number of subscriptions being reached.

Holders of a Vivo Azzurro Membership Card will benefit from favourable conditions for booking; The initiative is valid until all available places are booked.
