After facing England in Rome in August – a 2-1 victory at the Stadio delle Tre Fontane and a 2-1 defeat at the Giulio Onesti Olympic Training Centre – the U16s are preparing for another prestigious friendly double-header, this time against Spain. The two matches are scheduled for Tuesday 16 September (18:30 CEST) and Thursday 18 September (11:CEST) at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. Both games will be broadcast live on Vivo Azzurro TV.

Manuel Pasqual has called up 22 players, all born in 2010, who will gather on Sunday 14 September in Milan before departing the following day for Madrid.
