Accompanied by Delegation Head Gianluigi Buffon and assistants Luigi Riccio and Leonardo Bonucci, Gennaro Gattuso is continuing his Serie A training camp tour. In less than a fortnight, and before arriving at the Mapei Football Center, he had already watched Roma, Juventus, Inter, Cagliari, Bologna and Lazio preparing for the new season.

The National Team Head Coach was welcomed at Sassuolo’s training ground by CEO and general director Giovanni Carnevali, sporting director Francesco Palmieri, as well as coach Fabio Grosso and the Sassuolo players. After exchanging greetings, Gattuso watched Berardi and his teammates train. With the Azzurri’s next World Cup qualifier against Estonia coming up in Bergamo on 5 September, Gattuso’s busy schedule of visits to Serie A clubs will continue on Wednesday 13 August, when he will first call in at Udinese’s training centre and then, in the evening, attend the UEFA Super Cup clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham at the Stadio Friuli in Udine.
