The Head Coach’s Serie A training camp tour has kicked offFriday, July 25, 2025

National Team Head Coach Gennaro Gattuso has kicked off his Serie A training camp tour at Roma’s Trigoria base. Alongside his assistants Luigi Riccio and Leonardo Bonucci, Gattuso met with Roma’s head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, sporting director Frederic Massara, and the Giallorossi players. On Sunday 27 and Monday 28 July, he’ll be visiting Igor Tudor’s Juventus at Continassa and Cristian Chivu’s Inter at Appiano Gentile.
The purpose of these visits is to establish direct contact with the clubs and players ahead of Italy’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with the Azzurri set to face Estonia on 5 September in Bergamo and Israel three days later in Debrecen, Hungary.
During this busy summer, Gattuso will be in Cagliari on Saturday 2 August for the Gigi Riva trophy, with Cagliari scheduled to face Saint-Étienne in an international friendly. Then, on Wednesday 13 August, he’ll watch the UEFA Super Cup clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur in Udine.
