Italy Under-19s ready for the Elite Round: Bernardo Corradi's 20-man squad for the group stage

After a three-day training camp in Coverciano, the Italy Under-19 team are poised to defend their European title - clinched last July in Malta - in the elite phase of the continental tournament, scheduled from 20 to 26 March in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The Azzurrini, placed in Group 5, will begin their campaign on Wednesday, 20 March (15:00 CET) against Scotland at the 'Guido Teghil' stadium in Lignano Sabbiadoro, before facing Czech Republic on Saturday, 23 March (16:30 CET) at the 'Friuli' stadium in Udine, and Georgia on Tuesday, 26 March (14:30 CET) again at the 'Teghil'. Only the top-placed team will advance to the final phase of the European Championship, scheduled from 15 to 28 July in Northern Ireland.

The 20 players selected by coach Bernardo Corradi, all born in 2005 except for six born in 2006 (Bellucci Marin, Mannini, Pafundi, Pagnucco, Romano, and Sia), will gather on Sunday, 17th March (by 7:30 PM) in Lignano Sabbiadoro. The press conference for the event is scheduled for Tuesday, 19th March (2:45 PM) at the press room of the 'Guido Teghil' stadium.
