
U18s draw 1-1 with Belgium in second friendly

The U18s will begin their season with an international tournament in Croatia from 3 to 9 September, where they will face hosts Croatia, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.
Head Coach Massimiliano Favo has named a 22-man squad. The group features 20 players born in 2008 and two from 2009: Roma striker Antonio Arena and Juventus winger Destiny Onoguekhan Elimoghale. The Azzurrini will play their opener on Wednesday 3 September (15:00 CEST) against South Korea at the Gradski Stadion in Vrbovec, before facing the United Arab Emirates on Saturday 6 September (15:00 CEST) at the Stadion Nedelišće and Croatia on Tuesday 9 September (11:00 CEST), again in Vrbovec.
The tournament will serve as the first test ahead of the Under-17 World Cup in Qatar, scheduled between 3 and 27 November, where Italy will face hosts Qatar, South Africa and Bolivia in Group A.
