Media accreditation applications now open for training at Coverciano and the games against Bosnia and the Netherlands

From today until Friday 28 August (12:00 CEST) and exclusively via www.accreditations.figc.it, the method of accreditation for the training sessions at the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano (30/08 and 02/09/20) and the UEFA Nations League matches Italy vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina (Florence, 04/09/20) and Netherlands vs. Italy (Amsterdam, 07/09/20) will be opened.

STADIUM ACCESS FOR NATIONS LEAGUE GAMES (BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA AND NETHERLANDS)

The methods of accreditation, access to the areas in question and the number or media and photographers allowed will be regulated through the "UEFA Return to Play" and FIGC protocols.

For your information, please note the following:

  1. Media credits (written press/NRHs) will be allocated in relation to the stands (desks/observer seats), following health guidelines.
  2. It is compulsory to wear a mask at all times while inside the stadium, both pre-matchday and on matchday itself, and to maintain all rules pertaining to the protection of public health (washing hands, social distancing).
  3. Access to working areas (press room/press conference) will be restricted both for the pre-match press conference and on matchday itself according to availability of social distancing and regulated by the distribution of supplementary access devices (SAD). It will also be possible to follow the press conferences via the closed circuit monitors installed at the press stand.
  4. The maximum number of photographers allowed at any fixture is 26: 16 pitchside (limited to rear doors) and ten in the stands.
  5. Photo shoots of the official pre-matchday training session will only be allowed from the stands and in accordance with preventative measures. This will also be limited to a predetermined duration (first 15 minutes).
  6. On matchday, pitchside “photographer’s posts” will be allocated by the FIGC Press Office. It is obligatory to remain in the assigned position for the entirety of the match. It will not be possible to photograph the game from positions other than those indicated (no presentation, team photo, draw).
  7. For matches abroad, it should be noted that the conditions of access to the stadiums envisaged may vary according to local regulations in force.

ACCESS TO COVERCIANO AND MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES

  1. The number allocated to the media members, who are allowed access on a daily basis, will be limited to a maximum of 25 journalists and five photographers, regulated by the "FIGC Protocol". Any future changes will be communicated promptly via the FIGC’s official online channels.
  2. In principle, journalists will be granted entry limited to one representative per publishing group or newspaper, depending on the availability of seats.
  3. Entry to the Technical Centre will take place five minutes before the start of any scheduled media event and under the supervision of FIGC staff members. In any case, autonomous entry is not permitted.
  4. Access to the Auditorium will be granted to accredited media members on a limited basis, and not beyond the scheduled duration of the event. Further details will be communicated in due course.
  5. Accredited media representatives are obliged to wear a mask for the entire duration of their stay inside the Technical Centre.
  6. As is required by FIGC protocol, the accommodation of media representatives inside the Auditorium is arranged in compliance with social distancing measures and in a limited number with respect to the actual capacity.
  7. Media representatives will not be permitted to enter or exit the room during the entry/exit window for players and/or coaching staff.
  8. Access to the technical centre will not be permitted with television cameras. The FIGC will provide audiovisual recordings and still images of: i) the press conference and ii) daily training sessions. Technical specs and contact details to activate the service are as follows:

Press conference

The press conference will be recorded by three HD television cameras: Camera 1 (Total), Camera 2 (Close on speaker 1), Camera 3 (Close on speaker 2 or whoever is asking the question)

Training

Sessions open to the press will be recorded by two HD television cameras: Camera 1 (wide shot from the stand, centre) from an elevated position, Camera 2 (Close on the players from the edge of the pitch/centre)

In both cases, a live distribution of the footage will be available on Program Mix for Rights Holders, together with audio effects via a wallbox with an embedded HD SDI output situated outside the press conference auditorium.

Once the press conference and training sessions are over, files will become available on an FTP, from which they may be downloaded by those who have activated the service.
