European Qualifiers: 23 named to Azzurre squad for Malta and Bosnia Herzegovina fixtures

After making it past the first two obstacles, qualification is starting up again for EURO 2021. Following the 3-2 win at Israel and 1-0 against Georgia. Italy will be back on Friday 4th October to play Malta at the Centenary Stadium in Ta’Qali before facing Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Stadio Renzo Barbera on Tuesday 8th October with kick-off at 17:30.

Milena Bertolini has named 23 players to her squad. AS Roma Giada Greggi has been named in the squad for the first time after previously representing Italy at Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 levels. The side will gather on Sunday 29th September by 20:00 in Rome. There will be four training sessions with two a day before heading to Malta. On Monday 30th September, the Head Coach will hold her first pre-match press conference.

The Azzurre will remain in Malta until Saturday 5th October and train there in the morning before heading to Palermo.
