FIFA World Ranking: Italy remain in 15th place, Belgium hold onto top spot

Uruguay, (5th), Croatia (7th) and Argentina (9th) all move up a spot in the top ten, while Portugal (6th), Spain (8th) and Colombia (10th) all drop down in the rankings

FIFA World Ranking: Italy remain in 15th place, Belgium hold onto top spot

Having secured qualification for EURO 2020, Italy sit 15th in the FIFA World Ranking on 1593 points, with Belgium, France and Brazil retaining the top three spots in the table. Uruguay, (5th), Croatia (7th) and Argentina (9th) all move up a spot in the top ten, while Portugal (6th), Spain (8th) and Colombia (10th) all drop down in the ranking.

Other countries of note were Ukraine (22nd, +3), Japan (28th, +3), Turkey (32nd, +4) and Russia (37th, +5), along with the significant leaps by Nicaragua (137th, +11), Barbados (160th, +10) and Kosovo (114th, +5, this being their best ranking ever).

The next set of FIFA World Rankings will be announced on 28 November.
