Telepass becomes Top Partner of Italy’s National Teams

Telepass will take to the field alongside Italy’s National Teams as a Top Sponsor for the four-year period from 2023 to 2026. The deal covers all of Italy’s representative sides: men, women, youth, futsal, beach soccer and eSport. This is a history agreement between the Italian company, known for its electronic toll service and now a leader in integrated mobility, and football. The Telepass device was launched at the Italia '90 World Cup allowing Italians, for the first time, to be able to pay the toll without stopping at the toll booth.

The partnership was unveiled today at the FIGC’s headquarters. In attendance were FIGC President Gabriele Gravina, Telepass CEO Gabriele Benedetto and the two head coaches of our Men’s and Women’s First Teams, Roberto Mancini and Milena Bertolini. President of Edizione Alessandro Benetton and the President of Atlantia, Giampiero Massolo, also attended the meeting, showing just how important this partnership is for the entire group.

As part of the sponsorship deal, Telepass will launch limited editions of on-board equipment dedicated to the Azzurre and Azzurri, which be made available to its more than 7 million customers. They will also develop services dedicated to sportsmen and women and promote high-tech solutions to encourage increasingly sustainable and inclusive mobility, with particular reference to the younger generation.

“Our national team is a source of unique emotions and, for that reason, they can spread a universal message, one that unites every generation of Italians, who come together to support their team,” said Telepass CEO Gabriele Benedetto. “From today on, we will accompany the Azzurri in their international matches, with a particular interest in Europe where we have extended our “Made in Italy” mobility solutions to 14 countries in the continent. With this partnership, our firm aims to make a concrete contribution to the project that the FIGC has undertaken in recent years, with a focus on young talent, and we want to make Italians aware of the changes made to Telepass in the last five years.”

FIGC President Gabriele Gravina was also delighted: “This is an agreement of immense value because it focuses on youth, innovation and sharing. These are all elements that typify the Azzurri shirt and a modern business like Telepass. The FIGC is proud to usher in an important partnership such as this one, which destined to have a positive impact on the massive community of our fans and on the world of Italian football in general. Passion for football involves millions of supporters, who will have even better opportunities thanks to this deal."
