TIM renews partnership with the FIGC: on field with the Italian national football teams for 24 years

TIM and FIGC have renewed the partnership agreement confirming TIM as the Top Partner of the Italian national football teams. The agreement was signed today by Gabriele Gravina, President of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, and Pietro Labriola, CEO of TIM, at the FIGC headquarters in Rome.

The men's national team coach Roberto Mancini and the women's national team coach Milena Bertolini were also present, tuning in from the Coverciano Federal Technical Centre, where the Azzurre are preparing the friendly match Italy vs Colombia scheduled in Rome on 11 April.

"The renewal of this partnership," says Pietro Labriola, "is confirmation of the strong focus we have on the world of sport in all its forms and variations. Football has always united people, but because of its importance, it can also be a disseminator of the values we hold dear. The year 2023 promises to be an important one for the women's national team and we, together with the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, are here to support that talent should be represented in all its forms. Being partners of all the national teams, with whom we share the values of sport, social and inclusion, is a source of great pride".

"We are happy and proud to announce the renewal of this historic partnership," said Gabriele Gravina, "which represents a highly successful international standard and thanks to which we will be implementing various projects with a particular focus on youth and women's football, two fundamental assets for the development of our movement. TIM is an Italian excellence that supports sport and football with passion, putting itself at the service of the country system. Its contribution, in terms of knowledge and innovation, is fundamental for a greater involvement of millions of fans and for the overall renewal process of the Federation and of the football world that we want to achieve".

TIM has been the Top Partner of the Italian National Football Teams since 1999 and for the 24th year running will be alongside all the Azzurri Teams, Men's, Women's, Youth, Futsal, Beach Soccer and e-sports, the latest discipline to become part of Club Italia, which won the first UEFA European Championship in 2020, at the end of the selection of athletes carried out with TIM. TIM is also Title sponsor of the TIM Women's Serie A championship and of all men's, women's and futsal championships organised by the FIGC Youth and Scholastic Sector from Under 18 to Under 13.
