The U17s beat Wales progress to Round 2 League A

After convincing performances in the two friendlies against Switzerland last week in Vercelli and Chiasso, which saw a comprehensive 4-0 victory and a high-scoring 4-4 draw, respectively, the Under-17 team return to the training ground ahead of the first qualifying round of the European Championships in Kosovo, that will see them take on the hosts, Finland and Greece from 5 to 11 October.
Coach Bernardo Corradi has called up 27 players (25 born in 2006 and 2 from 2007, Matteo Cocchi and Francesco Verde) for the training camp scheduled from 4 to 8 September at the Centro Tecnico Federale di Coverciano, where the Azzurrini will undergo a total of six training sessions before finishing on Thursday 8 September with a friendly match against Fiorentina's Under-17 team.
