Two friendlies in Prato for the U19 European Champions: Corradi’s 24-man squad for the games against Northern Ireland and the Netherlands

After seeing in the new season with the game against Albania at Coverciano, Bernardo Corradi’s boys will play two games at Lungobisenzio on Thursday 7 and Monday 11 September: the latter will be shown live on figc.it. In the group are also three players born in 2006. Wednesday 6 September will see the press conference and official presentation

Two friendlies in Prato for the U19 European Champions: Corradi’s 24-man squad for the  games against Northern Ireland and the  Netherlands

After starting their season with a 3-0 win over Albania, the Italian U19s and Champions of Europe will be back out there for two more friendlies. The Azzurrini, at the Lungobisenzio stadium in Prato, will face Northern Ireland on 7 September and the Netherlands on Monday 11. Both games will begin at 16:30 CEST with the latter being able to be streamed live on figc.it.

Coach Bernardo Corradi has called up 24 players for his squad, 21 of whom were born in 2005 and 3 born in 2006, making them just 17 this year: goalkeeper Renato Marin (Rome), defender Vittorio Magni (AC Milan), and forward Matteo Spinaccé (Inter). The squad will meet for the first time on Sunday 3 September at Campi Bisenzio (Florence) and will begin their preparations for the two friendlies the next morning. The official presentation will be made during a press conference on Wednesday 6 September at 12:30 CEST in the Salone Consillare of the Palazzo Comunale in Prato.
