The U17s beat Wales progress to Round 2 League A

The Under 17s are all set for their European qualification adventure. After six days of training camp at Coverciano, ending with a 3-0 friendly win over Fiorentina's Under-17 side (goals from Verde, Sadotti and Mendicino), Coach Bernardo Corradi has officially named his 20-man squad (18 players born in 1006 and defenders Cocchi and Verde from the 2007 year group) who will depart for Kosovo on Monday morning, where they will face Finland, Greece and the hosts Kosovo in their group.
Italy will start off against the hosts, in the capital Pristina, on Wednesday 5 October at 16:00 CEST, before facing Finland on Saturday 8 (16:00 CEST) and Greece on Tuesday 13 October (13:00 CEST). The top two and the best four third-placed teams out of the 13 groups will go through to the Elite phase.
