Guglielmo Vicario has been withdrawn from the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Norway and Moldova. Head Coach Luciano Spalletti has called up Marco Carnesecchi (Atalanta) in his place, for the camp on Saturday 31 May before the matches. 

The Atalanta goalkeeper returns to the squad 15 months after the friendlies against Venezuela and Ecuador in the United States.
