HatTrick V: Italy Women take part in educational meeting

UEFA’s anti-doping project ‘HatTricK V’ continued at the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano today. On the first day of camp ahead of their upcoming matches against Spain and Switzerland, Italy Women attended an educational meeting as part of the UEFA programme, which aims to prevent intentional doping and help avoid accidental rule violations.

Francesca Sordini (from the Federal Anti-Doping Commission) outlined the objectives of the 'HatTricK V' project, while Federico Verdi (NADO Italia, the Italian Anti-Doping Organisation) talked about the list of banned substances to the girls and the medical and technical staff before discussing anti-doping controls, the Registered Testing Pool and Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs).
