FIGC President grants pardon to Lukaku (Inter), suspension in Coppa Italia revoked

FIGC President Gabriele Gravina today granted a pardon to Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan), thus overturning the one-match suspension he received following his red card for two yellows in the Juventus vs. Inter game (Coppa Italia, semi-final first leg). The decision was made official in the afternoon, after assessing the report of the Federal Prosecutor's Office (from which it "unequivocally emerged that the behaviour of the player sanctioned by the referee was subsequent to the serious and repeated manifestations of hatred and racial discrimination by the opposing fans") and considering, moreover, that the fight against all forms of racism has to be something that is supported resolutely, President Gravina signed the measure (Official Announcement no. 170/A).
