Lorenzo Insigne was the best Italian player on matchday ten in Serie A according to the top three sports newspapers in Italy.
The Napoli striker was the best player on the pitch as the Partenopei ran out 4-0 winners against Crotone. His display merited an average score of 7.67: La Gazzetta dello Sport and the Corriere dello Sport-Stadio both awarded him a 7.5, while Tuttosport went higher, giving him an 8.
At the weekend, Insigne broke the deadlock in the 31st minute, scoring his fourth league goal of the season: after receiving the ball on the left, he cut inside and let fly, picking out the far corner with a typically wonderful finish. At the start of the second half, he also provided the assist for Lozano’s goal to double Napoli’s lead. Two superb pieces of play in an all-round top performance.
