The Under-21 coach will be on the touchlines with the national team for the games scheduled on 3 and 7 June at the Stade de Luxembourg and the Pankritio Stadium in Heraklion.

Both matches in this international window (Tuesday 14 at 18:15 CEST in Serbia and Saturday 18 at 15:00 CEST in Denmark) will be broadcast live on Rai 2

The Ternana Women player has been called up to the senior national team for the first time. Training continues ahead of the double clash against Serbia and Denmark.

At Coverciano, the Italy Women’s national team have begun their training camp ahead of the upcoming set of qualification matches, both on the road. The venue for the match at home against Serbia on 5 June has also been confirmed: it will be played in Pisa.

The contract between the coach and the Italian national team has been terminated by mutual agreement. Gravina said: “In just a few months, he managed to restore enthusiasm around the national team, instilling a real sense of pride in the Azzurri among the players and the entire country.”

The former Azzurri captain and 2006 World Cup winner had taken on the role of Head of Delegation in August 2023.
