Cristiana Girelli is the MVP of the Romania vs. Italy, a world cup qualifier which ended 5-0 to the Azzurre.
The 31-year-old received 48.15% of the votes from the fans on the FIGC website, Barbara Bonansea and Valentina Giacinti were next in the poll, both voted by 11,11% of the users.
An incredible second half for Girelli who reached the 50-goal mark for the national team in the 53rd minute with a left-footed strike. A milestone which she then surpassed in style, adding two more to her tally: eight minutes later with a header and then another at the end of the game with a penalty.
A classy victory for the Azzurre, who bounced back after last Friday's defeat against Switzerland.
