Giancarlo Abete and Giovanni Malagò have officially submitted their candidacies for the FIGC presidency, along with their respective manifestos, ahead of the deadline set by the regulations, which is 40 days before the Elective Assembly scheduled for Monday, 22 June (08:30 CEST at first call, 11:00 CEST at second call) at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
Abete’s candidacy has been endorsed by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, while Malagò’s has received the support of Lega Serie A.
