Within the deadline set by UEFA, FIGC today submitted the dossiers for the venues deemed eligible to continue in the bidding process to host EURO 2032 matches. President Giovanni Malagò sent UEFA President Alexander Ceferin the formal communication containing the assessment carried out by FIGC’s offices following the completion of the review process for 13 cities (Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin and Verona) and 14 stadiums (Rome is bidding with the Olimpico and the project for the new stadium in Pietralata; Naples with the Maradona).

Having received the dossiers, UEFA will carry out the necessary compliance checks, covering eleven thematic areas and 120 operational requirements, including infrastructure compatibility, fan services, accessibility, sustainability, media and broadcaster services, security and hospitality. Only once this process has been completed will FIGC select the five host venues.
