Pesaro is getting ready to host the finals of the UEFA Futsal Champions League 2026. This week saw the first official inspection visits carried out by delegations from the FIGC, the Futsal Division and UEFA ahead of the major event scheduled for next May.

Mayor Andrea Biancani, Deputy Mayor Daniele Vimini and Councillor for Sport Mila Della Dora welcomed the delegates and accompanied them on visits to the venues involved in organising the event, demonstrating the city’s readiness to host the major sporting occasion. “We are proud to host an event of this scale, which will place Pesaro at the centre of the European futsal scene,” they said. “For the first time in history, the FIGC will host the final phase of this competition, and the fact that it will take place in Pesaro shows our city’s deserved recognition for the quality of its facilities and organisational capabilities.”
This week’s meeting marks the beginning of the countdown to the UEFA Futsal Champions League 2026 finals, a highly anticipated event for the city that will light up the Vitrifrigo Arena from 8 to 10 May.
