In line with the UEFA EURO 2032 timeline, by 31 July the FIGC had received documentation from the interested venues to verify compliance with the requirements set by European football’s governing body.

Thirteen cities (Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin and Verona), with 16 stadiums, have submitted their documentation. This will now be reviewed as part of the technical assessment process aimed at verifying compliance with the infrastructural, licensing, financial and organisational standards required to be eligible to host the tournament.

The FIGC thanks the Government, local authorities, sports clubs and all institutional stakeholders for their valuable cooperation. In the coming weeks, discussions with the parties involved will continue to consolidate and refine the dossiers, ahead of identifying the venues to be submitted to UEFA by 1 October, in accordance with the schedule established by the selection process.
