The Italian Football Federation (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio) has signed a deal with Vivaticket which names the Italian company as the exclusive seller of tickets for Italian National Team matches. The multi-year contract also includes a number of innovative activities which aim to strengthen the Azzurri fan community, ameliorate the fan experience as a whole and increase the provision of dedicated fan services.
FIGC identified Vivaticket as the ideal partner to provide fans of the national team with a truly cutting-edge service. This is due to Vivaticket’s history of technological innovation, communication and marketing expertise and the use of new digital tools. With years of experience in the sector and of managing public events on a national and international stage, Vivaticket are well-placed to support the FIGC in enhancing fans’ experience of football – an experience which begins with the purchase of a ticket. At the very heart of this cooperation between FIGC and Vivaticket is the desire to strengthen the Azzurri fan community by offering fans exclusive perks and advantages.
This commitment naturally applies also to fans of the Women's National Team, the Under-21 National Team, all national youth and Futsal sides. As well as providing numerous channels for Azzurri fans to purchase match tickets, FIGC and Vivaticket will work together to improve the fan experience by giving people the opportunity to access individual home games via digital media – establishing a relationship that transcends any one single match.
As part of this, a contained pricing policy will be guaranteed for fans which will give everyone the chance to support the Italian national teams. From August 19 onwards, fans will be able to purchase tickets online at figc.vivaticket.it or through the vivaticket.it website. For those fans who prefer to buy tickets at physical sales points, tickets can also be purchased from over 1,300 Vivaticket sales outlets throughout the country, as well as at FIGC-managed ticket outlets and stadium ticket offices for home matches. The first tickets to go on sale through Vivaticket will be Italy’s matches against Armenia (Yerevan, 05 September at 18:00 CEST) and Finland (Tampere, 08 September at 20:45 CEST) this September.
The Bologna-based company is a world leader in the design, production, marketing and management of both electronic ticketing and access control systems, as well as in event management more generally. As one of the leading providers of electronic ticketing services in sport, Vivaticket boasts some of the most prestigious Italian and international football clubs among its clients, including F.C. Barcelona, Club Atlético River Plate, FC Internazionale, AC Milan, AS Roma, Bologna Fc 1909, Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio, Torino F.C., U.S. Sassuolo and 40 further Italian football clubs.
