26-man squad announcement for the Euros: Giacomo Raspadori makes it

Just before midnight, the list of 26 Azzurri picked by Roberto Mancini for Euro 2020 was released. From the 28 players called up last Sunday, Gianluca Mancini, Matteo Pessina and Matteo Politano are the ones to miss out. The breaking news is the inclusion of Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori, who was with Nicolato’s U21s at their Euros until yesterday and arrived at Italy’s training base during the night.

Tomorrow, the official National Team photos will be taken ahead of the opening game of the Euros. On Thursday, the Head Coach will speak to the press in the build-up to the friendly against the Czech Republic, which is scheduled for 20:45 CEST on Friday at Bologna’s Stadio Dall’Ara.
