24 players have been called up by Silvio Baldini for Italy’s final two fixtures of the season. The national team will face Luxembourg on Wednesday, 3 June (20:45 CEST) at the Stade de Luxembourg, before taking on Greece on Sunday, 7 June (21:00 CEST) at the Pankritio Stadium in Heraklion in Crete, for another friendly.

Baldini and his staff will lead the Azzurri in both matches and have opted for a strong focus on youth, selecting players who already have experience in Europe’s top leagues and competitions. The squad features four players born in 2008, three born in 2006, seven born in 2005, and nine born in 2004, with an average age of 20 years and 6 months.

Alongside Gianluigi Donnarumma, who is captain and leader of the group with 81 appearances for the national team, Pietro Comuzzo, Marco Palestra, Niccolò Pisilli, and Francesco Pio Esposito are also already part of the senior national team setup.

The Azzurri will gather at Coverciano on Thursday, 28 May, in the evening and will hold their first training session the following day. Also added to the training camp are Tommaso Berti (Cesena), Niccolò Fortini (Fiorentina), Gabriele Guarino (Empoli), and Dominic Vavassori (Atalanta), who will take part in the preparation phase for the friendlies from Thursday, 28 to Sunday, 31 May.
