The victories at the end of September against England and Hungary, decisive for qualification to the Final Four stages of the Nations League, enabled the national team to move up a position in the FIFA Rankings and overtake Spain into 6th place, this being the only change in the top ten.
At the top is still Brazil, who thanks to the friendly victories against Ghana and Tunisia have widened the gap on Belgium (2nd), defeated by the Netherlands in the Nations League. Completing the podium is Argentina, followed by France and England. It's also worth noting the progress made by Croatia (12th, +3), Iran (20th, +2) and Serbia (21st, +4). The next FIFA Ranking will be published on 22 December.
