A total of 4,000 boys and girls from local schools and football clubs will be at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Friday 25 September to cheer on Italy against Belgium. As with the Azzurri’s recent home matches, the FIGC Youth and School Sector, in collaboration with Federcalcio Srl, will once again promote an initiative aimed at fostering positive and respectful support. For Italy’s opening match of the fifth edition of the UEFA Nations League, which will also mark Roberto Mancini’s return to the national team bench, 4,000 complimentary tickets will be made available to pupils from local schools and boys and girls from football schools across Rome and the surrounding province. The initiative is designed to encourage responsible behaviour in the stands, helping young supporters learn to back their team passionately while showing respect for opponents and match officials.
