The Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (Italian Football Federation) is happy to announce that an agreement has been found with Luciano Spalletti for the role of Head Coach of the Italian National Team. The Tuscan coach will take charge from 1 September 2023, with his official presentation taking place in early September at the Azzurri training camp at Coverciano. 

"We welcome Spalletti," said FIGC President Gabriele Gravina, "the National Team needed a great coach and I am very happy that he has accepted to lead the Azzurri. His enthusiasm and expertise will be fundamental for the challenges that await Italy in the coming months."
