After taking part in the La Nucía International Tournament in Spain from 25 September to 3 October, the Under-20 national team will return to action against Portugal and Switzerland. The matches will take place on Thursday 12 November (17:00) at the Stadio Euganeo in Padua and Monday 16 November (15:00) at the Stadio delle Terme di Monteortone in Abano Terme, near Padua, respectively. Both matches will be broadcast live on Vivo Azzurro TV.

The two fixtures, like the previous tournament, form part of the season’s Under-20 Elite League schedule. Italy currently sit fifth in the standings, with three points and a goal difference of -2, exactly the same as Switzerland.

Head coach Carmine Nunziata has called up 24 players: one born in 2005 (Amey), nine born in 2006 (Cardinali, Ladisa, Lavelli, Plaia, Pugno, Rao, Riccio, Siviero and Sow), 12 born in 2007 (Cama, Cocchi, Coletta, Conzato, Di Nunzio, Idele, Mosconi, Mout, Nardin, Sala, Vannucchi and Verde) and two born in 2008 (Comotto and Reggiani). The Azzurrini will meet in Padua on Sunday.
