The round of 16 against Switzerland was already decided for Italy with Mattia Zaccagni’s goal against Croatia. With the group stage now concluded, the round of 16 brackets for the first knockout round of EURO 2024 has been decided. On the same side as Italy are England who finished top of Group C and Slovakia who finished third in Group E. Completing the list are Romania, the Netherlands, Austria and Türkiye.

On the other side, we find Spain, Georgia, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Slovenia, France and Belgium. And it will be Italy vs. Switzerland in Berlin on Saturday 29 June at 18:00 CEST to kick off the round of 16 that will be played over the course of four days, up to 2 July.
