Tomorrow’s aims will be to earn their first win against Brazil, gain even more confidence and give their fans the best send-off possible. In their final home match of the year, the Italian Women’s National Team will face Brazil, ranked seventh in the world, fresh off their Copa America triumph in August and a 2-1 victory over European champions England in a friendly last Saturday in Manchester. More than just a friendly, tomorrow’s clash (18:15 CET, live on Rai 2) at Parma’s Tardini Stadium promises to be a thrilling showdown, for both the Azzurre and the fans in the stands.

After the 1-1 draw with Japan, Andrea Soncin’s side will once again have the chance to test themselves against a top level opposition. The goal is to keep growing and gaining experience ahead of the upcoming U.S. tour, the trip that will wrap up an extraordinary 2025 for the Azzurre, and in preparation for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, which will kick off in February in Brazil. “It’s going to be a match of the highest level,” said the Head Coach in the press conference before the final training session. “Our approach in Como on Friday was very positive, but tomorrow will be a different kind of game, one where we’ll need energy and intensity, both physically and in duels. We are feeling optimistic. We feel at home in Parma, and I’m sure we’ll see passion both on the pitch and in the stands. We want to inspire the people who come to watch us.”

But it won’t just be the fans feeling the emotion, you only have to look at Soncin’s expression as he reflects on the many events that have shaped his last few months. From the breakthrough at Euro 2025 to carrying the Olympic torch for Milano Cortina 2026, and even appearing on Dancing with the Stars. “I get emotional when I try to describe what I feel wearing the Azzurri shirt,” he said. “Together, we’ve created an incredible atmosphere that we keep building day after day. It’s a magical time for me and for the group, but only hard work work can keep our dream alive.”

Similarly, Elisabetta Oliviero can’t wait to take on the Canarinhas. “They are a fascinating team from a technical and individual point of view,” the Lazio defender highlighted. “We have always looked up to talented players like Marta, who have made football history, and we dream of following in her footsteps. Of course, our focus is already on the 2027 World Cup, but to get there we have to stay grounded in the present. We’re confident because we know we have a special team chemistry. After the Euros we really missed each other. The team has a really personal aspect and I think that’s one of the best things we offer each other.”

TICKETING. 3,500 tickets have already been sold for Italy’s ninth clash with the Canarinhas (seven defeats and one draw so far for Italy). Tickets will remain on sale right up until kick off at authorised Vivaticket outlets and on vivaticket.com. Discounts are available for Under-18s, Over-65s, university students enrolled for the current academic year, and Parma Calcio season-ticket holders. On Tuesday, starting from 16:15 CET, tickets will also be available for purchase at the stadium box office (Via Pier Maria Rossi).

PERFORMANCE FROM CARL BRAVE AND CASA AZZURRE. There will be plenty of entertainment both on and off the pitch at the Tardini. During halftime, fans at the stadium will get to enjoy a live performance by Carl Brave, who will sing ‘Makumba’ one of his biggest hits, along with his new single ‘Occhiaie’ released last Friday. Thanks to the collaboration between the FIGC and Radio Italia Solomusicaitaliana, he will perform in Parma before continuing his ‘Notti brave amarcord’ tour, visiting major venues across Italy in the coming weeks and concluding with a grand finale at Rome’s Palazzo dello Sport on November 27.

For the match against Brazil, there will also be a Casa Azzurre hospitality space, powered by adidas and dedicated to FIGC partners. It will be the first time the space is organised for a Women’s National Team match, following the great success of the event held at Rome’s MAXXI museum during the Euro 2025 semifinal between Italy and England.
